Mark Wahlberg Workout For The Fighter Movie Exposed!

Mark Wahlberg’s workout for “The Figher” turned him into a ripped and lean machine. You have to agree that he’s looking awesome and ripped in the movie trailers out now. We’ve gotten a sneak peak at the inside of Mark Wahlberg’s workout for this movie.

Not only is he an absolutely AWESOME ACTOR, with probability of becoming one of the VERY BEST ever, in my opinion, but his work put into the making of “The Fighter” movie took some hard work and dedication.

The workout routine for fat loss has mainly been “BOXING” and various martial arts. In the video below we can see Mark working the punching  hard.

According to what I’ve heard and read online Mark Wahlberg’s workout is quite intense and he is doing at least 5 workouts a week with high intensity lifts. The workout plan is usually dedicated to 30-40 minutes of hard work and focused on  specific body parts each time. Sources reveal that he is not a huge fan of ” ab workouts” or massive cardio, besides sports, so he definintely needs to keep a cleaner diet regimen.

He also doesn’t work with a personal trainer, but has friends and trainers around him at times. Such as for boxing.

If Mark is going to be doing a movie he will be training that sport for at least a couple of months, so for “The Fighter” he prepared with over 2 years of boxing training to get comfortable in the role as a fighter. Pretty impressive if you ask me. In the video you’ll see mark Auditioning for a role in “The Fighter” making him the lead role =)

Mark Wahlbergs boxing training was very intense and he even built up his own gym with a boxing ring to get the role for The Fighter. Mark’s routine is described to be something similar to:

Warm-up with a Jump Rope and some bodyweight squats
Speed Bag: 5 minutes
Double Bag: 5 minutes
Heavy Bag: 5 minutes
Mit work
Sparring

This is a good cardio workout for ANYBODY, but mark is dedicated to his job and keeps at it. He also uses weight training to build and maintain muscle mass. His weight training is varied and with focus on building muscle, but also keeping the muscle he has while cutting up to reveal the abs below the fat. A fairly clean diet is also needed.

No doubt is Mark Wahlbergs workout effective and the movie “The Fighter” really speaks for itself when you look at him, good work man!

I’m currently on this workout plan and I’m in Phase 1 of 3 Phases. The workouts are challenging and fun… I’m lifting for building muscle mass right now. I will do this for 2 months, then move to defining and sculpting for 2 months, then getting that deep ripped muscle inthe next 2-3 months. I should be extremely cut by the end of 6 months, check back to see my results…

I tried the Truth About Abs and Fat Burning Furnace, but now I’m following this program to the letter:
